Ambient, task and accent on independent circuits let a room change mood in seconds.

/ 02Hold one colour temperature
Hold every fitting to 2700K and the whole house finally agrees with itself. Mixed temperatures are why a room feels subtly wrong without anyone naming it.

/ 03Light the surface, not the air
Aim accent light at something — stone, timber, a textured plaster wall. Light with nothing to land on is just glare.
- One temperature, whole house.
- Three circuits minimum.
- Dim the ambient, never the task.
- Graze texture, don't flood it.

On a full residence we set the lighting plan with the furniture plan, because a floor lamp with no socket behind the sofa is a plan that failed on paper.
